Friends of the Orchestra Fund
The Steamboat Symphony Orchestra is an organization based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado whose mission is to promote orchestral music in the Yampa Valley by providing professional quality performances and education experiences for community musicians of all ages. Founded in 1991, the orchestra has grown from a volunteer ensemble to an orchestra comprised of professional musicians from the area and beyond. Throughout the year, the organization engages the community with educational activities and immersion weekends. The Mark McManus Foundation provides community outreach and educational programs to raise awareness about the risks associated with prescription drug use, misuse and addiction. The foundation was started by Mara McManus Rhodes, Co-Founder of The Rx Task Force, after she lost her younger brother and only sibling in 2014 to opiate addiction. In collaboration with The Yampa Valley Community Foundation, donations will benefit educational programs for youth, parents, clinicians, coaches, mentors and professionals. In Mark's legacy, the hope is that no one will be in the dark about the power of addiction.

It looked as if each tree was painted with a different color. In the winter, the trees and ground are painted white. In the summer, they are painted green. In the spring, the forest gets splattered with different colors. On the ground, there are flowers which a painter creates and paints. The rivers, lakes, and ponds are th leftover blue and green paint."

Steve Maloney Memorial Fund
This fund was established in 2008 in memory of Steve Maloney. Two scholarships will be awarded annually to athletes who are passionate about running, their sport of choice, and are seniors. They must be graduating from Steamboat Springs High School, Steamboat Mountain School, SOROCO High School or Hayden High School and have attended that school for at least two full semesters.
